Practitioner Contributor Agreement

1. Who this is between

This agreement is between [ProjectX legal entity — name, Ontario incorporation no., registered office to be filled before deploy], an Ontario corporation operating the TALLENTIN platform and the Arete knowledge system ("ProjectX"), and you, the individual signing below as Practitioner (also called Founding Advisor). You are identified internally by an anonymised code so your real name never appears in the encoded knowledge layer.

2. What Arete is

Arete is a structured repository of real human hiring wisdom. Your contribution helps improve candidate evaluation, detect misrepresentation, reduce hiring bias, and build a validated standard of hiring intelligence.

Real-world impact. What you contribute will inform real hiring decisions made by recruiters using TALLENTIN. Your input carries a duty of care to candidates affected.

3. What we'll do with your session

• Record your wisdom-capture session (voice).
• Encode the patterns into Arete in Canada (Supabase Canada Central, PIPEDA-compliant).
• Use the encoded wisdom only for the purposes you consent to below.
• Identify you internally by your anonymised code only — your name is never exposed in the encoded layer.

4. Your rights — kept intact

You keep full ownership of your professional expertise, experience, and opinions. Nothing here stops you from using your own knowledge in your own career, teaching, consulting, writing, or contributing to other projects — provided TALLENTIN's internal frameworks, signal codes, scoring logic, and session protocols remain confidential.

5. Withdrawal — what happens

You can withdraw at any time by written notice. Within 30 days we will:

1. Stop using your raw recordings;
2. Delete the recordings if you ask in writing;
3. Retain only anonymised, aggregated encoded wisdom where deletion would compromise Arete's integrity — this exception is limited, explained to you in writing, and does not remove your attribution rights;
4. Send you written confirmation of what was deleted, what was retained, and why.

6. Royalty (deferred — Founding Advisor commitment)

No royalty is active today. As a Founding Advisor — one of the first contributors — ProjectX commits to offer you a royalty addendum within 90 days of the royalty system activating. Terms offered will be no less favourable than those offered to any other Founding Advisor. Royalties apply only to contributions that reach active status (passed 20-validation threshold + cleared bias gate + in active use by TALLENTIN).

7. Your attribution is permanent

No signal enters Arete without a named human practitioner. Your contributions are permanently traceable to you within the system. They cannot be reattributed to anyone else or to AI. This protects both Arete's integrity and your legitimate claim to your contributions.

8. Confidentiality — both ways

You: won't publicly disclose ProjectX's internal Arete structure, schema, signal codes, scoring logic, or session protocol. You may publicly identify yourself as a Founding Advisor.

ProjectX: will treat your personal details, raw session content, and unique insights as confidential and will not disclose them outside internal Arete operations without your written consent, except as required by law.

9. Governing law

Ontario, Canada. Disputes go through 30 days of good-faith negotiation, then mediation in Ontario, before any court action. Ontario courts have exclusive jurisdiction.

10. Independent legal advice

You are strongly encouraged to obtain independent legal advice before signing. By signing, you confirm you have either obtained such advice or voluntarily waived the opportunity.
